Mary Poppins became the biggest hit Walt Studio ever had.

And he was able to build a division that has since created every audio animatronics character for every Disney theme park in the world.

Just think how different the Disney theme parks might be. Had it not been for Mary Poppins and Maypo.

Welcome to the WDW Radio Show. Your Walt Disney World Information Station. This is show number 81 for the week of August 24th, 2008. And as always, I am your host, Lume Angelo.

We'll start off with some news from Walt Disney World this week, including a new interactive experience for guests.

And in the Walt Disney World rumor mill, we'll take a look at another add-on outside the park adventure experience that may or may not be coming in the future.

One of my favorite segments on the show are the DSI Disney Scene Investigations. And this week, we take a look at one of my favorite attractions, Peter Pan's Flight.

Jeff and I will look at the history of the attraction, its route and connection to Disneyland, examine it scene by scene, and explore why it remains such a timeless classic.

There are so many reasons to go to Walt Disney World, whether it's a family vacation with the kids, honeymooning with your new spouse, the big family reunion, or the occasional solo research trip.

But what about just a bunch of the guys getting together and going away, and instead of places like Myrtle Beach or Las Vegas, what about going to Walt Disney World?

Steve Tiki-Man Seaford is going to join me to talk about going away on his mancation to Walt Disney World, the many things you can do outside the park with the guys, and how to get the most out of the experience.

We'll start off this week's show with some Walt Disney World news, and one of the very best parts of the Beauty and the Beast show in Disney's Hollywood studios, in my humble opinion, is the opening quote-unquote act.

And not just because of how incredibly talented the group of performers is, but for how they catch most members of the audience by total surprise.

They're known as Four for a Dollar, and they're the Acapella group that's performed at the pre-show at Disney's Hollywood studios, Beauty and the Beast show for many, many years, but unfortunately, that run is going to be coming to an end.

On September 20th, the group, which is known as Return to Zero, when they're not performing on Disney property, is going to give its final performance, and I have to say that if you are heading down to Walt Disney World before then, and whether you've seen them before or not, I highly recommend checking them out, probably for the last time.

Fans of the Emmy Award-winning Disney Channel show Kim Possible, and who are heading to Walt Disney World later on this year, should get ready, because there's going to be a new interactive experience debuting in late 2008.

Guests in EPCOT are going to be treated to a brand new, very, very interactive attraction inspired by the Disney Channel animated series.
