Welcome to the WDW Radio Show, your Walt Disney World Information Station. This is show number 49 for the week of January 13th, 2008.

I'm your host, Lume Angelo, and by the time you hear this episode, I will have run, and hopefully completed my first, and possibly last, Walt Disney World Half Marathon.

So, since I have to record and produce this show early in this week, there won't be any news or rumors, but I do have a few segments that I think you're going to enjoy.

First, we take a detailed look at, and review what of Walt Disney World's premiere restaurants, and prove that food in the parks is more than just burgers and fries.

As Glenn Will in an eye, take a trip to Canada in Epcot's World Showcase, and visit La Salleie Steakhouse.

Next, Young Cody Pepper joins me once again, for a fun game of Walt Disney World Factor Fiction.

Then, Steve Barrett and I will talk about some new hidden makies, other hidden characters, hunting at the resorts, and then he's going to ask for your help in determining whether some questionable ones fit the bill.

We all know by now that Walt Disney World is unlike any place else on Earth, especially when it comes to a place that you can take your family to spend time together, whether it's for a week or even just a day.

But I'm sure we've all had friends or co-workers who for some reason didn't come to us first, say things like, yeah Walt Disney World was great, but I got tired of eating hamburgers and chicken fingers every day.

So, if you are like me and after you pick up your jaw off the floor and compose yourself, explain to them that Walt Disney World isn't just about hamburgers and hot dogs, but or even quick service meals, but really has some of the best dining options anywhere.

And when I say anywhere, I don't mean in the Orlando area, I mean anywhere as in like planet Earth.

So, today what I want to do is highlight one of those restaurants, and I specifically chose one that's inside of one of Walt Disney World's four theme parks to illustrate my point.

And joining me on this culinary education program is Glenn Whalen, who's a contributor to the show as well as the Disney World Tribute.com site, and he's also the owner of the Passam Caudi blog. Glenn, welcome buddy.

Well, we're two for two for dining things, so we did yakking at the first and coincidentally we're doing this next one.

But like I said, what I want to do is highlight a restaurant that maybe the frequent visitor to Walt Disney World is well known to, but to others, maybe the first time guest is somewhat hidden because of its location and or sometimes how it's really almost unattainable to get a dining reservation door for dinner.

Because of its newfound popularity, and I'm talking of course about La Salle des Stakes House in Canada in Epcot's World Showcase.

Right, correct. Yes, it's, I mean, the fact that it is named after a seller of the hotel of Canada, you know, it can't be found unless you know it's there.
