Hello everybody and welcome to the WDW Radio Show, your Walt Disney World Information Station.

I am your host, Lou Mangelo, and this is show number 264, the week of March 4th, 2012.

Beyond the attractions in Walt Disney World, there are so many wonderful overlooked opportunities, experiences, and events.

Not just for adults, but for kids as well.

And so this week, we're going to look at some special events just for kids and families, both in and out of the Walt Disney World theme parks.

We have some more information about upcoming events, including the WDW Radio day at the ballpark,

as well as a few other announcements before playing more of your voice mails at the end of the show.

Over the years, going back to early 2005 when I started podcasting, I've always enjoyed highlighting, exploring,

introducing you to, and of course, researching some of Walt Disney World's special experiences, events, and opportunities.

From things like food and wine, to the wild Africa Trek, to grand one cruises, and everything in between, there are countless ways to enhance, and plus, to use a Walt term, you are Walt Disney World Vacation.

But in the past many years, two things happened to help expand my views and the enjoyment of the Disney Parks, and they are my two kids.

And now I've gone from seeing Walt Disney World as a child, being taken there every year by my parents, thanks mom and dad, to an adult two still trapped in a 43-year-old body, to now a parent of two children that share a common love of Disney, because of course I'm raising them right.

But while a lot of kids, they sort of just revel in the attractions, the shows, and the character encounters, there are also some very special kid events as well.

And so joining me this week to look at some of our favorite special events for kids is a dad, and a kid at heart himself.
