Hello everybody and welcome to the WDW Radio Show, your Walt Disney World Information Station.

I am your host, Lou Manjello and this is showed number 243 for the week of October 9th, 2011.

The annual Epcot International Food and Wine Festival has become a destination event for both Disney World enthusiasts and food lovers from around the world.

In addition to the kiosks, seminars, tastings and signings, there are also a number of special events to further enhance the experience.

This week we'll review two of those special celebrations, the Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic and the party for the senses.

We'll discuss the venues, menus, entertainment, recommendations, value and more.

I'll then have a few announcements, then play more of your voicemails at the end of the show, so sit back, relax and enjoy this week's episode of the WDW Radio Show.

I want to start off this week's show by first saying thank you.

Thank you to all of you again for taking the time out of your busy day to listen to the show and more importantly for all the incredible friendship and support that you have all shown me since I've begun.

And especially over the last couple of weeks and months, last weekend we held the 40 hour show to celebrate 40 years of Walt Disney World and it was so great to meet and see so many new friends in the parks and more importantly, so many of you that watched live in the box for 40 hour straight.

I am incredibly grateful to all of you.

More so than that, we held a 40 item charity auction through our Dream Team project to benefit the Make a Wish Foundation of America and as a testament to you and the power of this community, you all came together not only in the donations that you brought to allow that auction to take place but more importantly,

the donations and the generosity that you showed during that auction and in just 40 hours, we raised more than $17,300 that went directly to the Make a Wish Foundation of America.

I wanted to give you my sincerest and heartfelt thanks for that.

You do not understand the power of what you've done and the wishes and the magic that you're going to bring to a child and their family with serious illnesses by allowing them to visit Walt Disney World.

So thank you for allowing me to be a part of that wish-granting with you.

And if you missed any or all of the 40 hour show, we're actually going to put together a highlight video that will have posted up in the site and on iTunes in the next couple of weeks.
