Summary

In this episode of BGTW we examine what happened immediately after war was declared, and how it seemed to some to suggest that a new war would soon be upon the British Empire, while to others it suggested that new efforts must be scrambled to ensure peace. The problem was, of course, that the individuals who possessed these views could be found in the same Cabinet, and used to be the best of friends.
