Ah, it is really nice to hear that music again. Hi guys, this is Zach Tomley from When

0:14.9

Diplomacy Fails podcast. And here we are with a talk episode that I don't really know what to

0:20.0

call. It's great to be back

0:21.8

in this limited form and it's great to finally be doing a talk episode with Sean because it's been

0:27.4

absolutely ages. So how are we all doing? I hope we're doing good because I'm really looking

0:33.3

forward to presenting this to you guys. I know it's been about a week since I finished the July

0:38.5

Crisis Project, so this should tie in nicely with all that. I don't really know what to call it

0:44.8

because it was kind of, I'm not going to say spur of the moment, but I mean, it wasn't planned

0:49.3

as part of the July Crisis Project to put a talk episode in at the end. So I kind of just stuck it in there

0:55.0

in the feed as like a talk episode all into itself because we don't just talk about the July

1:00.5

crisis, although we mostly do. Anyway, so I hope you guys enjoy it. There's a few interesting

1:07.2

things in there, one of which is the competition that was Sean's idea to launch,

1:11.9

in which you could win a copy of the game Verdun, which is a first-person shooter set during World War I,

1:18.5

and to find out details about how you could be in with a chance of winning a copy of that game,

1:22.9

stick around at the end, and we'll explain to you the terms. It's all very simple.

1:26.3

I also finally get around to

1:27.9

thanking all the people who have donated to the podcast during the July Crisis Project, mainly

1:32.4

because I was just completely overwhelmed by the generosity of people. I was really surprised.

1:37.1

It's unbelievably nice to have that email that says, you have a pending donation, and then to

1:42.0

open it and be like, oh God, this person's sending me all this money just because I'm doing this.

1:46.6

I mean, in retrospect, I'm working, like, I was working flat out for a good while, but even so, I mean, to think that people would send me money because I'm doing my hobby?

1:56.8

Like, that's crazy.
