When a guy like me starts a thing like Patreon, they expect a small

amount, moderate amount of success to gradually build it up over time, to be somewhat pleased,

be quite self-depreciating, all that kind of stuff, and that's fine. I mean, I expect to do that.

The podcast is not world famous. Everyone else would start at the same level. I mean, think about it this way. Everything starts at zero at some stage. You start at zero likes on your Facebook page, at zero followers on your Twitter. You started zero downloads on a podcast. I mean, it all makes sense. So when I stared at that zero dollars mark

for the Patreon, I didn't feel bad. 36 hours later, though, so in other words, less than two

days, literally I started it in the morning by the night time of the next day. I had smashed three

records. I had raised $120, and I basically been forced into following something that I said I'd do, which was to establish a member's feed for the podcast. It's insane. I mean, like, I was so, I just, I don't even have words. Like, I knew that you guys want, some guys said that they wanted me to start this for various reasons, but
