I could start with the NFL because there is breaking news, but I want to go somewhere different today.

And we haven't talked a lot about this since it started.

So not to get all jingoistic either on anybody, but

let's talk some baseball. I mean, after all, it is our

national pastime, right? Allegedly.

I think, once, like 50 years ago. Anyway,

I don't think I'm alone in enjoying Team USA at the World Baseball Classic so far,

because Team USA also really seems to be enjoying itself at the World Baseball Classic so far.

And they seem to really enjoy beating Mexico last night for the first time in two decades.

That's right.

Did you even know that?

The USA is not beat Mexico in baseball since 2006 somehow.

They had a chance in the last WBC three years ago.

They lost.

They had a chance at the WBC back in 2013.

They lost.

Yesterday, however, Team USA got the job done in what really actually did feel like a big

time, big time game.

In fact, the whole tournament feels like a big time event.

Just ask the dudes that are playing in it. You don't have to

take it from me. Take it from the players. Take it from Terek Skubal who had already decided before the
