I'm joined in studio today by our technical producer, Jonathan Voico. Hello, everybody. Writer, director, producer, you might know him best as the producer of Agent Cody Banks, Robert Meyer Burnett. It's a tender mercy's kind of day, John. It really is, and we'll get into what that means in just a second. But most importantly, of course, you guys guys are here thank you so much for being here making our little show party your day and here's how today's show's going to go we're going to start off by talk about a number of topics we got lined up for you guys then in the second part of the show which is the most important that's when we take your live comments and questions if you guys have a thought theory opinion theory, opinion, question, or an issue you'd like us to discuss, as long as we deem it appropriate to be discussed, go ahead and use our super chat feature and send it on in. With all of that down, let's get things started off here with an issue I wish we didn't need to talk about.

A little bit earlier this morning, as being brought to us by npr here

we found out that legendary Oscar winning actor robert deval has passed away at the age of 95

robert deval is one of these actors.

You know, I don't know if you can relate with this, Rob.

There's just some actors that for some totally non-logical

and irrational reasons, they have always been there since I've been alive.

And I've always just assumed we'll always be there.

I know exactly what you mean.

Robert DeVall was one of those guys.

Because he didn't just have a long career because he like worked from a young age all the way up till just a couple of years ago.

But didn't just have a career.

Like he had, I believe, seven Academy Award nominations. Seven! That puts him in the upper, upper echelon of the all-time greats. But he's

also in some of the most iconic films of all time.
