were gonna talk about um apologize yes I'm sorry I'm sorry okay so I'm gonna

preface this with just the basics of apologizing because I had this

conversation yesterday on that Zoom call that for me originally the the thing

was as a woman we need to generally stop over apologizing it seems to be a very

feminine thing and also demand a little bit from society so there's that and

that's good and easy enough but I also want to step further when I recognize

what an apology feels like and means to other people so when I say I'm so

sorry let's say I as an example I'm late I'm so sorry fuck I suck I'm so

sorry I'm late I'm late I'm awful all of the emphasis is on me yes all of it

those words yes are actually all you're saying is how you feel now I'm sorry I'm

sorry it's simply a statement of my feelings in this and it brings the entire

interaction and makes it about me yep whereas in we do the thing what which is

what we practice which is instead of saying I'm sorry say thank you for your

patience when you say thank you for your patience you put all of the positive

affirmation onto the other person going thank you you are patient I

appreciate you but what if the person's not patient what is because that almost

to me feels a little bit like then you can add power them you are telling

your heart so you can go you don't have to say patience you can just say thank
