That is a little bit of Mulholland Drive from the second full album by Bartis Strange, born Bartis Leon Koch's Greg.

You first introduced us to him as a buried treasure in November 2020, fascinating upbringing this young man had.

Born in Ipswich, England to a military engineer father and an opera singer mom, moved at age 9 or 10 to a small town in Oklahoma Mustang.

Spent some time working for non-profit groups as a PR spokesman and then blows up big in the music world with his debut album Live Forever.

That gets him signed to one of the hippest indie labels in the world, the long running powerhouse for AD.

That was a lot of great exposure for him and a lot of this record is a reflection on that.

I meant to mention that it starts with the title, right, in some ways rural Oklahoma to the big cities.

But also he felt like an outsider and now he has a seat at the table.
