This week we look at the archaeological ruins found in the continental USA that are not reported in mainstream archaeological news for the simple reason that they call in the question our history.

Most of our history books tell us that Columbus found America. That's not true, it hasn't been true for many, many years.

In fact, in the late 1800s, many scientists believe that there were settlements of much, much earlier people, perhaps in the thousands of years.

Today, my guest is Wayne May, the publisher and editor of Ancient American Magazine, which is also subtitled Archaeology of the Americas before Columbus.

This is a detailed look at a number of the more important sites and discoveries found by independent archaeologists, scientists, and research investigators who have reported these remarkable finds in this magazine Ancient America.

As I introduced in the beginning of the program, one of the most eye-opening and in some cases startling evidence of early American culture is a publication known as Ancient American Archaeology of the Americas before Columbus.

For a number of years, I have attempted to have Wayne May, the editor and publisher come on Earth Ancients and speak with us about a couple of the more intriguing discoveries that have been made in the continental US, relating to very, very early people.

We're talking three, four thousand years in the past, which simply go unreported by mainstream archaeology. You won't find them in the National Geographic magazine, you will not find them in Smithsonian.

For the most part, people in the regions of these ruins have their own little museums that have the artifacts that are not reported and for the most part are shunned by state representatives of the archaeological community.

Why? Because it forces them to rethink their understanding of the United States history.

More than that, and we've heard this many, many times, many of these state archaeologists, university professors and so on that teach archaeology, teach anthropology, would have to change the books and texts that they've written, would have to rewrite history.

And that's just too much for them. And on top of that, there are salaries, there are pensions, there are egos that would have to be adjusted for them to consider, including these anomalous but very, very factual finds that are reported in Ancient American magazine.

Now today, Wayne's going to join us for a solid hour of revelation. And when I say revelation, we'll talk about the mound builders, the Mississippians, the Hopewell culture, and some new discoveries that have been made over the last couple of decades that few people know about because they're just too hot to handle by the mainstream.

If you've been following Ancient American culture theory for a while, you know the big predator, the big bad guy has been, I should call him the boogie man, has been the Smithsonian Institute, which for years, over 150 years, has been accused of not only suppressing data from earlier cultures in the United States,

but systematically collecting artifacts, collecting skeletons, collecting data that would show that there were numerous cultures in the United States.

Many of them from known locations in Europe, in Africa, and in the far East, including China, that have had settlements, that have had offspring, and so on, thousands of thousands of years before Columbus even thought about coming to what is currently the United States.

I have been a fan of this magazine, and I think you will, too, after Wayne comes on, and it is a quarterly publication that I urge you to consider.

You can get a look at it by going to AncientAmerican.com, and they have a number of different publications that you can get a sense of, but, you know, we have had numerous authors on this program who write quite regularly for Ancient American magazine, and they really, after a while, are frustrated in the fact that they really can't get much information.

Much further than people who are fans of this kind of data, and when I see can't get much further, we have tenured professors, we have tenured scientists and universities who will not touch this data.
