This case that we're going to talk about today was one that I planned on covering

over on Patreon in September and when I was done writing it I did what I usually do

and I do a Google search for news that had occurred within like the last 90 days up to a year.

That's because when you're researching these cases they get a ton of reporting

when they happen so that is at the top of the Google results. To get those little updates that

might be newer you have to kind of restrict your search just a little peek behind the curtain

of my process. Well when I did that literally after I had this fully written I saw that Netflix was

releasing a documentary called Ice Cold that came out in late September about this case.

So I went ahead and held on to the script until I watched the documentary and I had some

thoughts on the documentary so I thought I would go ahead and put this out on the main feed

Mirna's father Eddie was a wealthy businessman and she attended one of the top international
