starting your day with us. There's a lot to cover this morning after a stunning day in Washington and New York.

First, we learned that New York Attorney General Letitia James filed a sweeping new lawsuit against

former President Trump, the Trump Organization, and three of Trump's adult

children, accusing them of fraudulent financial practices. We also learned of new developments

from the House Select Committee investigating the January 6th insurrection. Jenny Thomas, the wife

of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, has agreed to speak to the panel in the coming

weeks. And finally, a major victory for the Justice Department and federal investigators.

An appeals court is allowing the DOJ to resume its criminal probe of classified documents

seized from former President Trump's Marlago home.
