calling on his Republican colleagues to put pressure on Senator Tommy Tuberville to end his months-long blockade of military promotions.

It comes as the chamber finally confirmed a top officer yesterday. Also on Capitol Hill, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy will again try to

pass a defense spending bill, a measure that typically sails through easily after far-right members

blocked it for moving forward.

And Ukrainian President Volodemir Zelensky, he will also be on Capitol Hill today,

hoping to secure more military aid from Congress.

He'll also appear with President Biden.

blocking him and hundreds of other military promotions in protest of the Department of Defense's

abortion policy.
