0:10.8	As the Delta variant rages across the country, hospitalizations are surging in states with low vaccination rates.
0:17.3	According to the CDC, the number of people in the hospital with COVID has almost quadrupled
0:21.5	over the past month to nearly 45,000. In Florida, nearly 13,000 people are currently hospitalized,
0:28.5	a new record for the Sunshine State. Over 2,500 of them are in intensive care. Florida is also
0:34.7	seeing a rapid rise in the number of pediatric cases, with at least 135 children
0:39.5	currently hospitalized. Texas is the only other state to report more confirmed pediatric COVID
0:45.1	patients in Florida. There is 142 children hospitalized. Meanwhile, the war of words between Florida
0:51.5	Governor Ron DeSantis and President Biden continues to escalate.
0:55.4	Speaking outside the White House yesterday, President Biden was asked about DeSantis' latest criticism of him
1:00.1	when it comes to handling COVID. Here's how that feud has played out this week.
1:06.1	Just two states, Florida and Texas, account for one-third of all new COVID-19 cases in the entire country.
1:14.8	I say to these governors, please help, but you're not going to help at least get out of the way.
