NBC News has learned that some of the documents recovered during the FBI's search of former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort potentially contain attorney-client-privient privileged information. According to a court filing

yesterday, the filter team used by the Justice Department has already finished its examination of

those possibly privileged documents, sorting through them and weeding out any material that

should not be reviewed by criminal investigators. The filing could potentially

undercut Trump's efforts to have a special master appointed to review the files. Over the weekend,

a federal judge indicated she was inclined to grant the Trump legal team's request for a special

master who would oversee the review of documents taken during the August 8th

search of Mar-Lago and ensure that any documents that might be protected by claims of legal
