We're going to start with the news.

Former President Donald Trump says he is planning a Fourth Amendment defense

to keep the Justice Department from analyzing the documents that were seized from his home.

In a posted social media site on Friday, Trump accused federal law enforcement of, quote,

destroying our country and teased that he would soon file a motion based on the protection

from unreasonable search and seizure. Further details were shared by Trump's top attorney on

Saturday who said he was considering a motion to appoint what's called a special master in the case.

This would be an outside official selected by a judge to carry out a judicial matter on the court's behalf.

As of this morning, however, there is still no indication that Trump's team has actually taken those steps.
