Donald Trump's been a friend of mine for 25 years, and I'm always very open about this on my show.

But, you know, we'll see whether that's what the country wants.

Maybe it's time to turn the page if we can get someone who has all Trump's policies, who's not Trump, right?

That's Fox News host Laura Ingram suggesting maybe it's time for Republicans to move

on from the former president.

It comes as Trump's legal issues pile up and dominate the headlines.

We'll have the latest on the fight over the affidavit that cleared

the way for the FBI search of Mar-a-Lago. Meanwhile, it's primary day in two states that typically

don't get a lot of attention. But the elections in Alaska and Wyoming could derail one political

career and reignite another. And back here in Washington, the White House and

Democratic leadership want to remind people that they're passing historic legislation.

The Justice Department has asked a judge to keep the affidavit pertaining to the search warrant of Marlago sealed,

citing a need to protect the investigation and witnesses. The affidavit contains the government's reasoning for conducting the search.

In a court filing submitted yesterday, federal prosecutors argued, quote, if disclosed, the affidavit

would serve as a roadmap to the government's ongoing investigation,

providing specific details about its direction and likely course.

In addition, information about witnesses is particularly sensitive,

given the high-profile nature of this matter, and would impact their willingness to cooperate.

Releasing the affidavit could also chill future cooperation in, quote, other high-profile
