We'll begin with the latest developments on the FBI's search of Donald Trump's South Florida home.

Sources familiar with the matter tell the Washington Post that federal authorities were concerned

that Trump had not returned to the National Archives all of the material he had improperly taken to Mar-a-Lago

after he left the White House in January 2021. He returned 15 boxes about seven months ago,

but 12 more boxes were seized in Monday's search. Trump's attorney, Christina Bob, says the

former president's legal team had been in discussions with the Justice Department since the spring about whether additional records were being stored at Mar-a-Lago.

She says that Trump's attorneys met with federal officials at Mar-a-Lago on at least two occasions.

Sources tell NBC News that at some point during the probe, Trump even personally showed investigators the room where the materials were being kept.

Here's what we heard from Trump's legal team yesterday, including from Christina Bob, who is the attorney on the property during the FBI search.

I don't think that there was actually anything there that's worthwhile.
