A tense Oval Office meeting, three days before the attack on the Capitol, will play a major

role in today's fifth hearing into Donald Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 election.

The January 6th committee is set to hold its fifth hearing this afternoon, and it will be the

final one this month. It will focus on Donald Trump's efforts to get the Justice Department

to help him overturn the 2020

election. It has been reported that when then acting attorney general Jeffrey Rosen

resisted Trump's pressure, the former president came close to replacing him with mid-level

DOJ official Jeffrey Clark, who had repeatedly pushed to help advance the big lie.

Today, we're going to hear testimony from the former acting AG, who was nearly replaced,

as well as his deputy at that time, Richard Donahue, and assistant AG for the Office of Legal
