this morning. I'm Allie Vitale on this Monday, June 2nd,

and we'll start with the news there. Officials in Colorado say eight people were injured after a man

shouted free Palestine and then used what they're describing as a makeshift flame thrower as he

attacked a group of people all marching for awareness of Israeli hostages currently being held by Hamas.

Authorities are investigating this assault as an act of terrorism.

When this call came out today, our officers rushed as quickly as they could,

somewhere close to the area, and they immediately ran into a chaotic situation

where a man was throwing Molotov cocktails and using other devices

to hurt people. Our officers, as their train, immediately interacted with the suspect, took him

into custody, and then began rendering aid to those victims. Now, Boulder police say the injured
