What you've heard President Trump say time and again is that he's not going to allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon.

I think you've also heard President Trump say that he doesn't want us to engage in more of these endless wars.

So whatever President Trump does, and I know that he's three steps ahead of everybody else here, whatever he does,

it's going to be putting America's interests first, it's going to be bringing Iran to a point where they do not have a nuclear weapon.

That's the stated objective.

And it's going to have to happen very, very quickly.

That was Republican Senator Bill Hagerty of Tennessee, with some praise for President Trump,

as the commander-in-chief weighs options on the growing conflict between Israel and Iran.

The question is, will the president

order a U.S. strike without approval from Congress? Meanwhile, on Capitol Hill, the Senate is still

working its way through the president's massive tax and spending bill with their own wish list

for the legislation. It comes as new analysis who's revealing possible fiscal implications

of the House's version. The question is, how would it impact most Americans?

Also, ahead, an update on the legal fight over who has control of California's National Guard troops.

The question is, will the courts have an answer before another major action from the Trump administration?
