Trump is pulling a military dragnet all across Los Angeles, well beyond his stated intent to just go after violent and serious criminals.

His agents are arresting dishwashers, gardeners, day laborers, and seamstresses.

That's just weakness, weakness masquerading as strength.

Donald Trump's government isn't protecting our communities.

They're traumatizing our communities.

And that seems to be the entire point.

That's California Governor Gavin Newsom delivering an address last night,

responding to President Trump sending military forces into Los Angeles.

The question is, how will the president respond to his direct criticism?

It comes as downtown L.A. is now under a curfew after a night of vandalism and looting.

The question is, how long does the mayor plan to keep that order in place?

Meanwhile, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth defended the federal response and the financial cost of sending service members to Southern California amid reports the deployment was made with no solid plan actually in place.

The question is, is the Pentagon doing enough to take care of the troops they're sending on the ground there?

A curfew is now in place in downtown

L.A. following clashes between protesters and law enforcement. Mayor Karen Bass ordered the

curfew last night, saying it will, quote, stop bad actors who are taking advantage of the president's

chaotic escalation. Bass says she expects the curfew to be in place for at least a few days.
