What I saw was just a war scene. It was something like I had seen out of the movies.

There were officers on the ground, you know, they were bleeding, they were throwing up, they were, you know, they had, I I mean I saw friends with blood all over

their faces I was slipping in people's blood it was carnage it was chaos never in my

wildest dreams did I think that as a police officer as a law enforcement

officer I would find myself in the

middle of a battle.

January 6th as she testified in the first hearing into the attack on the United States Capitol.

The committee investigating the January 6th attack

began laying out its case in vivid detail last night.

It was searing, powerful,

at times hard to watch, but very necessary to do so.

Offering never-before-seen video and new evidence that investigators say shows Donald Trump and

his advisors knew that he lost the election fair and square and yet still sought to overturn

the will of the American people.

Committee Vice Chair Liz Cheney also presented evidence of how Trump's actions led to the

planning of what happened that day, that the White House knew in the days leading up to the

attack that things could turn violent, and that as the attack was underway, it was Vice President
