renewal, America is ready for a takeoff in my view. We're working again, dreaming again,

discovering again, and leading the world again.

President Joe Biden, in his first address to a joint session of Congress, declares America is on the move again, rising anew, here to stay and ready for takeoff.

The question this morning is Congress ready to tackle his ambitious and expensive agenda?

Plus, Senator Tim Scott delivers the Republican rebuttal, as one of only three black senators and the only black Republican.

Question is, was Scott able to convince Americans that he and not Biden has the best approach on matters of race?

And a major move in the criminal investigation of President

Trump's former lawyer Rudy Giuliani as federal agents conduct a raid on his New York City home.

The question is, did they find what they were looking for? It's way too early for this.

We'll start with the news. In his first address to a joint session of Congress, President Biden last night offered an optimistic assessment of America's place in the world after inheriting what he called a nation in crisis.

I stand here tonight one day shy of the 100th day of my administration. A hundred days since I took

the oath of office and lifted my hand off our family Bible and inherited a nation we all did

that was in crisis. The worst pandemic in a century. The worst economic crisis since the Great Depression,

the worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War.

Now, after just 100 days, I can report to the nation.

America is on the move again.
