Joseph R. Biden is expected to announce his reelection bid today, exactly four years after he jumped into the 2020 race.

Three sources familiar with the plan say that Biden will make his candidacy official with a video

message, just like he did last time. Since taking the Oval Office, the president has been

adamant about his plans to seek a second term, but repeatedly stressed

that he's a quote, great respecter of faith. At 80 years old, Biden is already the oldest

president in American history, something that polls show voters have significant concerns about.

But heading into 2024, the president will have a strong record to campaign on, including

the signing of the bipartisan infrastructure bill, new gun safety legislation, and restoring

key alliances on the global stage.
