your day with us. We begin with this news. President Joe Biden is preparing to formally announce that he is running for re-election next week.

The president's team is planning to launch his 2024 campaign soon, potentially as early as Tuesday.

That's according to multiple sources familiar with the plans.

The Washington Post was the first to report this potential timeline,

and we should note the announcement could still be delayed. The president has not given his

official sign off yet, but his advisors have been in formally targeting April 25th,

that's Tuesday, and it's also the anniversary of Biden's 2020 campaign announcement. He made that announcement, April 25th,

2019. This would be four years to the date. The launch will likely come in the form of a campaign

video message, as he also did back four years ago. Both the White House and the DNC have

declined to comment. We, of course, will keep you posted.

To the other side of the 2024 race now, where Republican lawmakers in Florida continue to back
