I do not believe that the courts have the authority to have the authority over the FDA that they just asserted.

And I do believe that it creates a crisis.

Should the Supreme Court do that?

It would essentially institute a national abortion ban.

I think it's important that we take care of women.

And it's important that we have real discussions on women's health care and get off the

abortion. Get off the, you know, the abortion conversation. Women have a whole lot more

other issues than just abortion. Let's have those real conversations. Two different takes on a controversial ruling out of Texas, overturning FDA approval of a drug used

in medical abortions. We'll have much more about that and all of the reaction to it just ahead.

Plus, local leaders in Tennessee are working to reappoint two Democratic lawmakers who were

expelled from the State House there.

And also ahead, former Attorney General Bill Barr ranks the most pressing legal issues for Donald Trump

and predicts another indictment is coming for the former president.

We begin with a string of gun violence over the holiday weekend, including three mass shootings. It started Friday in South Carolina with a mass shooting at a beach during a high school

senior skip day celebration. Six people were shot. Five of them are teenagers. Police say two teenage

suspects were arrested on gun possession charges. In New Orleans, investigators are working there

to find the person who sprayed a car with bullets on Interstate 10 Friday.

A 10-year-old boy was in that car and critically injured.

And an 8-year-old girl and two women were also in that car and sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Then on Saturday in Houston, four people were shot at a celebration of life.
