Congress passes the president's nearly $2 trillion

$2 trillion COVID relief package with zero support from Republicans.

Considering just how popular the bill is, the question is,

will the GOP opposition backfire?

Plus, the Senate kicks into high gear,

confirming a number of the president's cabinet appointees,

including Merrick Garland for Attorney General.

With the pandemic

still raging, the question is, how long before we get a health secretary in place? And another

allegation against New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, as a sixth woman comes forward to accuse him of

inappropriate sexual behavior, as he rejects calls to resign, the question is, could Cuomo be impeached?

We will start with the news in a major legislative win for President Biden.

The House passed the massive $1.9 trillion dollar coronavirus relief bill.

The final vote was 220 to 2.11, mostly along party lines.

One Democrat, Congressman Jared Golden of Maine, joined all Republicans in voting against the bill.

Democrats erupted in applause after the roll call.

On this vote, the ayes are 220.
