The second impeachment trial of Donald Trump gets underway on Capitol Hill today at the scene of the crime, as several men charged in the Capitol riot are now implicating the former president.

Today begins the historic second impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump, accused of incitement of insurrection for the January 6th attack on the

former president to face trial in the Senate. The floor is already set. The House prosecutors and

expected to begin as mandated by the rules at 1 p.m. With one update, senators will need to pass

Opening arguments are expected to begin tomorrow, putting the trial on track for a possible verdict by early next week.
