dollars and even end his business empire

I'm Jonathan Lemire. Thanks for starting your day with us. And it looks to be an extremely busy day,

particularly for Donald Trump's legal calendar. Today in New York, we expect to see a consequential ruling

in the former president's civil fraud trial.

You'll recall that Judge Arthur and Gorin has already found Trump and his top executives engaged in fraud

by overinflating the value of his real estate holdings.

Now he just needs to decide on the issue of intent and what penalties Trump and his company should pay. New York

Attorney General, Lettisha James, is seeking a $370 million fine and a ban on Trump conducting

any further business in the state, the state of course where he built his business empire.

Trump has denied any wrongdoing, and his lawyers have said they'll appeal if Judge

Angoren rules against him.

But that's just one legal development.
