I do think he would be allowed to self-surrender.

You know, if you have any concerns that a person might flee or might be dangerous, you would arrest them.

But I think in the case of Donald Trump where everybody knows this is coming, his lawyers would get a call, say he's been indicted.

When can he come in in the next, you know, a couple of days?

And he'd be in.

But he does have to get books, which means he would have to go and be processed,

fingerprinted, a mugshot taken. That has to be done. So I imagine it could be done with Secret
