U.S. Capitol. The officer, Colonel Earl Matthews, wrote a 36-page memo to the House Select

Committee investigating January 6th. He claims that General Charles Flynn, who was the Deputy Chief

of Staff for Operations on January 6th, and Lieutenant General Walter Piat, the director of

Army staff, quote, repeatedly misrepresented, understated, or misled, the House Oversight
