Over the coming days, the United States will make another push with Turkey, Egypt, Qatar, Israel,

and others to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza.

The hostages are released at the end of the war without Hamas and power that it becomes possible.

That was President Joe Biden yesterday, reaffirming his commitment to a ceasefire in Gaza,

following a deal to end the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon.

start this morning with Canada and Mexico's response to President-elect Donald Trump's threat

to impose significant tariffs. On Monday, Trump promised to impose a 25% tariff on all goods

and services from the North American countries in an effort, he says, to crack down on drugs

and illegal immigration. In response, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said he had a good

call with Trump where they discussed putting aside partisanship to work together on border security.

Mexico's response, however, much sterner.

President Claudia Scheinbaum suggested that her country could retaliate with its own tariffs, adding that migrant caravans

are no longer even reaching the border. During a press conference yesterday, Shinebaum read
