I don't care if it takes every second of our time and every ounce of our energy,

we either get this government back on our side or we defund and get rid of,

abolish the FBI, CDC, ATF, DOJ, every last one of them, if they do not come to heal.

And I don't think it's too much to ask.

That was Republican Congressman Matt Gates of Florida last year,

suggesting that the Department of Justice

would be shut down, a department which once investigated him for sex trafficking allegations.

But now President-elect Donald Trump has selected Gates to potentially lead the DOJ.

We'll go through that stunning pick and his other cabinet selections in just a moment.

Meanwhile, Trump also made an offhanded comment on Capitol Hill yesterday that this might not be his final term in office.

We'll bring you the reaction to that remark.

And we'll begin with the most controversial cabinet picks so far by President-elect Donald Trump.

Trump has selected Republican Congressman Matt Gates of Florida to serve as

Attorney General. If confirmed by the Senate, Gates would lead the department that once investigated

him for sex trafficking. In late 2020, the FBI started investigating allegations that Gates

was involved in the trafficking of a 17-year-old girl.
