I'm John Clamere on this Thursday, November 11th, Veterans Day. We'll start with the news.

The White House is addressing economic worries about a report yesterday showed a 6.2% spike in consumer prices. A statement from President Biden reads this, I have directed my National Economic Council to pursue means to try to further

reduce these costs and have asked the Federal Trade Commission to strike back at any market

manipulation or price gouging in this sector. And what was supposed to be the celebration of the passage of

his trillion-dollar infrastructure bill, President Biden instead had a promise to tackle inflation.

Today's economic report showing unemployment continued to fall, but consumer prices remain too

high. Tell us the American people in the midst this economic crisis,

the recovery is showing strong results, but not to them. They're still looking out there.

Everything from a gallon of gas to a loaf of bread costs more, and it's worrisome,

even though wages are going up. We still face challenges, and we have to tackle them.
