We've got a new development this morning in the Mar-a-Lago documents case. The Washington Post reporting that former president Donald Trump asked one of his

lawyers in early 2022 to tell the National Archives that Trump had returned all materials requested

by the agency. But that lawyer, Alex Cannon, declined to do so

because he was not sure if that claim was true. That's according to people familiar with the matter.
