The House Select Committee investigating the January 6th insurrection is ramping up efforts to force

former Trump administration officials to cooperate with its probe. A new subpoena has been issued

to Jeffrey Clark. He's a former Justice Department official who supported the former

president's push to overturn the 2020 election results.

The committee is seeking records and sworn testimony from Clark by October 29th.

In a statement, committee chairman Benny Thompson wrote this.
