Almost a year after America elected Joe Biden to lead the country out of the COVID-19 pandemic,

the 46th president may have hit a wall. Following what many called a mishandled withdrawal from

Afghanistan, troubling scenes at the southern border, and a delta variant surge, the president's approval rating

has tumbled from the low 50s in February to just the high 30s in a recent Kinnipiac poll.

In focus groups from swing states critical to Biden's win last year, strategists are reporting

a common trend to Politico. The outlet writes in part, quote, reports from leading party operatives

all point to Biden needing to get a handle on the virus to claw his way out of the muddle.

In a focus group last week, Pennsylvania Democrats one after another, articulated the issues

vexing top White House aides, party operatives in Virginia, and voters in Georgia. Why isn't President
