We begin this morning with those

wildfires scorching Los Angeles County. At least five people have died, and more than 100,000 people

have been forced to evacuate all over the course of the past 36 hours. Estimates have the fires

burning down more than 2,000 structures across the area. Five major fires are currently burning across the county, with three, the Palisades,

Eaton, and Sunset, at 0% containment.

The LAFD, however, confirms they are making progress on the sunset fire.

The two others, called Lydia and Hearst, are at 40 and 10% containment, respectively.

The largest of the fires is the Palisades,

which has burned through more than 17,000 acres, and officials are calling that fire the most

destructive in L.A. history. The second largest of them, the Eaton fire, has engulfed more than 10,000
