Right now, in state after state, new laws are being written, not to protect the vote,

but to deny it.

Not only to suppress the vote, but to subvert it, not to strengthen and protect our democracy,

but because the former president lost, instead of looking at the election results

from 2020 and saying they need new ideas or better ideas to win more votes, the former

president and a supporters have decided the only way for them to win is to suppress your vote and subvert our

elections. It's wrong. It's undemocratic. And frankly, it's un-American.

A significant and forceful speech from President Biden marking the one-year anniversary

on the attack of the U.S. Capitol,

assailing Donald Trump for what happened that day and for his ongoing claims that the election

was stolen. With the midterms now kicking into gear, the question is, did President Biden just

throw down the gauntlet? Plus, as COVID cases hit an all-time high, top health experts are now calling for a new national strategy.

The question, instead of trying to eradicate the virus, should we learn to live with it?

And a key indicator of the strength of the U.S. economy when the December jobs report comes out later this morning.

With hiring expected to have accelerated,
