Hi, my name is Waverly. I've built our brother named Palmer. I live in Highland Ranch, Colorado. My birthday is May 16th. I'm turning seven. And may I please have a story about a horse and undergone playground in my dog, Whitney? Thank you.

Tonight's make-up story is a request from a girl named Waverly who lives in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, and who turned seven years old two days ago on May 16th.

And so we wanna say, happy birthday, Waverly.

Happy birthday, Waverly.

That's silly, Waverly. And Buddy, who else had a birthday today?

Jesse. Yep. Jonah's brother Jesse also turned three today. And Waverly asked for us to make up a story that includes a horse, an underground playground, and Waverly's

dog whose name is Vaughnou.

Once upon a time, a long time ago, there lived a girl whose name was Waverly. Waverly had lots of different kinds of shoes, and some of the shoes she would use if she needed

to like go on the hike or splash through puddles, and Waverly had different shoes if she

needed to like go to school or go for a walk.

And she also had one pair of shoes that she never got to wear.

And that pair of shoes, well, they were pink, and they looked like a little bit long,

and they had a diamond on top of them. Those shoes, Waverly's mom once told her,

came from Waverly's mothers, mothers, mother, all the way back to seven mothers' back,

and that mother was a princess of a land named Kalarulu. And Kalarulu was, it was near Colorado.

It doesn't exist anymore, but it was kind of circle-shaped in the Rocky Mountains.

And Kalarulu was the place where Waverly's great-great-great-grandmother came from.

Now, people that lived there, they had a hard time walking about because the mountains were so rocky and steep.

And so they used special shoes that were pink and had diamonds on them that allowed you to float a little bit on top of the ground.

So you didn't need wings to fly if you had these pink shoes. Yeah, bud?

So Waverly, if you put them on, could she fly?
