What happens when a stranger's desire for parenthood is so great that they're willing

to do anything to achieve it, even steal the unbreakable bond between mother and child

through murder, this time an Invisible Choir.

Today is the first day I learned of how my daughter was murdered and my granddaughter was

taken from her.

He put the rope around her neck and he pulled it tight.

I started cutting the baby out.

Every day I'm reminded of her more and more because every day she grows she looks

starting to look more like a mother.

August 19, 2017, a balmy 83 degree Saturday afternoon in Fargo, North Dakota.

The city of approximately 120,000 is alive and bustling with activity.

The local Red River market draws hundreds to downtown Fargo for locally grown produce

and live music.

About eight miles north of town, the North American Fast Pitch Association World Series

is in full swing, bringing together elite teams across the U.S. and Canada at the city's

brand new north side complex.

Life is good in this bustling Midwestern town.
