Well, I went through this whole back and forth as a kid of like always just accepting it as compliments. And then, you're so skinny. What are the compliments? Well, the compliments are like, you should be this, or you should do that, or you should be whatever. |
| 2:21.0 | And then after a while i was kind of i just stopped talking about my body because i wouldn't i never initiate those conversations and i've always been involved in those conversations like unsolicited so i'm kind of like okay i don't want to talk about me oh my gosh okay. Also in those moments, you're like, what are you looking? Like, it kind of remind you how important the human body feels for society. And it's like the first thing people notice of you. And I remember from a young age, my eyes, my smile. Right. Like, I have a good personality. I'm funny. Get to know me, you know? So I remember like not ever loving them at first and then kind of like forcing myself to like them and then realizing, hey, wait, like I don't want to talk about my body right now. |
