It was an experience going from mask-mandated California to Maskless Florida, including some interesting Uber rides. Oh and did I mention it was really really hot? What we’ve been Reading:Hoai-Tran read Crying in H Mart by Michelle Zauner, is reading Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia, is distraught at having caught up with the Haikyu!! anime and has been reading the manga but it’s not the same. Brad started reading Slimed!: An Oral History of Nickelodeon’s Golden Age What we’ve been Watching:Peter and Hoai-Tran watched Black Widow. Peter, Hoai-Tran, Brad, and Ben watched Luca. Peter, Brad, and Ben watched In The Heights. Hoai-Tran and Ben watched Bo Burnham’s Inside. Hoai-Tran watched Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down and Zola. Ben watched Enter the Dragon and Foreign Correspondent. They are both busy or haven't seen a lot of stuff.

But you know what? We can still continue this party without them. So let's jump into it and let's start with what we've been doing

And it looks like I'm the only one that's been doing anything over the past week.

Last week I went to Orlando, Florida again.

And this time it was to cover the grand opening of a new ride over at Universal Studios islands of adventure. It's called

the Velosa Coaster. It's part of the Jurassic World franchise and it's an insane roller coaster.

I'm a theme park person, but I'm not a roller coaster person.

I think the extent of what I do, like for roller coasters kind of like the you know the

extreme Disney coasters which I would say probably aren't that extreme they

probably have like one inversion so I've never been on a coaster of this magnitude before and the cool thing is the first

time I went on it. We were there for a press day so they videotaped the whole thing with like an expensive red camera that was like rigged up to the seats in front of us.
