Summary

Sometimes the hardest goodbyes aren't really goodbyes at all. When one father unexpectedly becomes the sole caregiver of his four daughters, the sudden loss of their mother leaves everyone in emotional overload. But on the very day she passes, a friend witnesses something impossible: through gauzy hotel curtains, a figure who looks just like the second-eldest daughter—yet that daughter is fast asleep.
