I had a client in front of me a couple of years ago now we became actually quite good friends

who said to me I'm not like everybody here at LeBrenner Dining Room

I'm just a regular guy from a suburban area.

So I barely can afford a meal here.

Can you recommend me a wine for regular civilians?

And he was rather provocative with that.

And I said, sir, I love the area where you're from because I live also in the suburbs in Brooklyn.

I said, but in Brooklyn not many people we are F.P. Shawnee. So with a little sense of humor you can do so many

There are certain things that often get paired with watches, watches in cars, watches in cameras,

and watches in wine.

And this week's guest knows a lot about that third one.

His name is Aldosome, and he's the Somalier at 3 Michelin Star Restaurant,

La Bernardino, and his eponymous Aldosome Weinbar here in New York City.

He's somebody who's been on my radar for a long time but I never actually knew he was a

watch guy. It was a ton of fun bringing him here into the studio to talk about

our mutual love of watches as well as his new book

something that all of us here at Hodinke can really appreciate. After that we have a conversation that was recorded

back in the fall between Jack and Grand Seco designer Nobuiro Kossugi. The two of them talk about
