Summary

Bob Mackey of the Retronauts joins Kaye this week to talk about Majora's Mask, whose pitch is that you only have three days to save the world, but you have as many three days as you want. This is the bleaker and more ambitious sibling to the beloved Ocarina of Time, and it's a standout title in its own right even if it's (wrongly, in our opinion) divisive. The inhabitants of Termina walk daily under a reminder of their pending doom, and Link and his many transformation masks are their only hope against Skull Kid and his mysterious cursed mask.

You know, I never, I've never played Winwaker, actually. Wow. I know, right? I didn't have a GameCube when it was contemporary. And by the time that we came out, I was just, I picked up Twilight Princess and bounced off of it. And I'm like, ah, maybe not Zelda for a while. Well, of course, you had a Wii, right? I did have a Wii, you. Yeah. That's one of the 10 games worth playing. One of the, like, maybe three games that never actually went to the switch quite yet.

Did the wonderful 101 ever come to the Switch, or is that still stranded? Oh, you know what? They did a Kickstarter for a modern-day port. I have it for Steam. I have to imagine it probably was on Switch. Okay. Yeah. At least as long as it's off of the Wii U island.

I am like a defender of the Wii U in the way that I like am a booster for the Dreamcast.
