Let's talk about the Washington Wizards. Can we figure them out? Probably not, but we're going to do our very best, Michael Bolton.

and projections and how to use them, I think that's

really key that you do that. We will also have the schedule grid up by then as well, so you can see the schedule just release. I don't have the off the top of my head who's got good and bad playoff schedules, which is an overrated concept. What I do know from my first glance of it is it looks like the NBA, again, I hate to say this. I feel like they've increased the number of back-to-backs, which is just idiotic. What are you clowns doing? But I would do a show talking about the schedule as well once I've broken it all down. And yeah, we're going to talk Washington Wizards. So we might as well just talk about the Wizards now and let's get this over with, I guess. That's not fair because, you know, there's a lot of interesting things there. It's just bloody confusing. All right, here's the new host, or one of the new hosts of the Locked-on Wizards podcast. Ben Strober joins me for the first time. Ben, welcome to the show for the first time and welcome to the Lockdown Podcast Network. and I won't say welcome to the Washington Wizards, but like welcome to talking about the Washington Wizards to me

2:01.2

because it's

2:20.8

it should be interesting. Thanks Josh. Appreciate you having me on. Always excited to come talk some

2:26.8

Wizards basketball with whoever it is because I feel like it's it's hard to go outside and get

2:31.3

someone that wants to talk Wizards basketball with me but that's why we have you? Well, yeah, I hope I'm willing to do it in a way that satisfies you and your fan base and the Wizards fan base because it is a team that while in the short term, they are going to be terrible. They were terrible last season, but they are being intentionally terrible. And one of the criticism of this Wizards team in the past past was like why are you always trying to be you know the current day Chicago Bulls why are you trying to be the seventh seat while you're chasing mediocrity and the pain is there it shouldn't take you know there should be an ability to turn this around and they're doing it the right way but it is going to be um I guess frustrating and confusing and that's where when I look at this from a fantasy lens as well as an NBA lens, we look at them, you know, getting Chris Middleton in the Kyle Cousma deal last season, trading away Jordan pool, getting the expiring contract of C.J. McCullum to get that off the books. But we also saw last season, Chris Middleton would start games and Marcus Smart would come in, then Bob Carrington would shuffle back and forward from the starting line up to the

bench, and Malcolm Brogden would play over him. And now C.J. McCollum is better than in Malcolm Brogden. I don't know if he's better than Middleton, but like, what are we going to do with this? So are we going to trot out opening night Ben and see C.J. McCollum starting next to Chris Middleton, while guys like potentially

Tray Johnson, Barbara Carrington,

Keishaw and George are coming off the bench?
